Harvest Festival

Sunday, October 17⋅2:30 – 4:30pm

Art, music, social justice, nature--all found in the garden setting of the Growing Center! Celebrate the harvest season with nature art activities, pumpkin decorating, and tours of native pollinator and herbs garden beds. Investigate a data sculpture highlighting food access, created by Somerville residents Emily and Rahul Bhargava. Enjoy the sounds and rhythms of Lechuga Fresca, a local Latin jazz band. Enter a Harvest Raffle, to take home Growing Center creations such as local maple syrup, dried herbs, lemon-balm tincture, a fairy house kit, or hand decorated evergreen wreath. Yoga in the Garden
