A Growing Center Video Project

In the early spring, the Somerville Community Growing Center and Groundwork Somerville tap sugar maple trees on the Tufts University campus and collect the sap to make maple syrup.

 

Inspired by this project, Growing Center volunteers Danielle Krcmar and Liza Kitchell created this original video piece, "Drip, A Movie About Sap" to explore the amazing process of collecting sap from sugar maple trees.
