440 Performs "Yo-Ki" Swing

​

440––directed by Tomoko Iwamoto––play jazz in the Manouche or "gypsy jazz" style popularized by Django Reinhardt in 1930s Paris. They performed a collection of their original compositions at the Somerville Community Growing Center during the summer of 2020. We are sharing their performance of "Yo-Ki" Swing now as a mid-winter warmer and a treat for any of us looking for ways to dance away the February blues!

Playing in this video are Tomoko Iwamoto on violin, Mark Chenevert on clarinet, Sven Larson on Bass, and Jack Soref on guitar.
