We are seeking additional board members to sustain the efforts of the Friends of the Somerville Community Growing Center!  No prior experience required.  Ideal candidates are excited to join a dedicated group that meets 6-8 times/year and assist with long term planning, site management, programming and fundraising. We had a very successful March 16th workshop. Jessie of Green City Growers demonstrated easy ways we could extend the growing season of vegetables by creating hoop houses and cold frames that work like mini-greenhouses.
